Constructed from eco friendly recycled Polyester 96 %, Elastane 4 % blend, and water based inks. Features a soft yet sturdy 200 gsm feel. American Biseki is an emerging lapidary artist-turned-fashion designer influenced by the Japanese tradition of Biseki; the appreciation of beautiful stones. We collect, cut, treat, study, and interpret all our Specimens for translation into unique, limited run, find-to-fabric garments.

   Only 99 will ever be are available and the materials were chosen to give the piece a Second Life as a polishing cloth for lapidary artists, reconnecting the garment to its origins in the natural patterns of the rock and creating a useful item from an otherwise landfill destined object. American Biseki aims to capture the essence of all the specimens we study while paying proper respect to the ecosystems that make our work possible through responsible material selection, limited runs, and forward thinking design elements.
